Socializing is important at any event. You don’t want your attendees to come in, sit down, hear the names called off, and that’s it. You want to encourage them to socialize and network with each other. To do this, make sure it is convenient for them to do so by making sure there is enough room for guests to maneuver around the room.

Of course, you want to be inclusive and recognize a lot of people for the good work they have done, but you also may want to consider choosing one top performer to give the “highest” awards to.
