If you are ordering a plaque to present to your boss, teammate, coach, student, or any other accomplished individual, the last thing you want to do is word the engraved phrases poorly. Show that you have put in the effort.
You want the plaque’s engraving to truly communicate whatever it is you are trying to commemorate. Put some thought into this. Also, consider why the accomplishment matters to the recipient. The effort that you put into pondering the best way to communicate the message of the award will surely show through.
Don’t overcomplicate it.
Keep your wording simple. You do not need to use extra formal, flowery words. In fact, if you do, the phrasing may end up sounding insincere and possibly even confusing. The wording needs to have a balance between sounding well-planned and thoroughly thought out, yet still very genuine and personal.
